Greetings!

We hope in this month, which includes a holiday that celebrates love, you are working on or supporting an OSS project that is near and dear to your heart. We've had a bit of growth in projects that have migrated from Google Code and now also have a way to import your projects from GitHub--which a number of folks are doing to take advantage of our multiple SCM options (Git, Hg and SVN), the possibility of being featured in our Enterprise Directory, as well as gaining access to our mailing lists and forum features.

Another new feature launched this month is ActivityStreams, chronological timelines of activity for every project and user on SourceForge. "Follow" your favorite projects and users, and their activity will be aggregated into your timeline, giving you one centralized view of what you are most interested in. Read more about ActivityStreams.
We are also proud to announce we just relaunched DevShare, our partnership program aimed at helping developers to monetize their downloads.

February Project of the Month
The February Project of the Month is Clover EFI Bootloader, an EFI-based bootloader for BIOS-based computers created as a replacement to EDK2/Duet bootloader. Read our interview with the project creators.

Congratulations to the Clover EFI Bootloader project as our POTM!

Major Site News

Along with ActivityStreams, the new GitHub import tool and the relaunch of DevShare, our team has also completed work on a tool to import to SourceForge from Trac. This is useful to projects that had a Trac instance in our Hosted Apps offering. Also, if you have a Trac instance elsewhere that you want to move to SourceForge, this tool will help in that effort.

Call for Download Mirror Providers
Hosting a mirror is a great way to show support for SourceForge.net and the Open Source community, ensuring availability and fast downloads of Open Source software for users in your region.

This is a no-fee arrangement. Mirror operators supply hardware and bandwidth. SourceForge keeps the mirror in sync and delivers traffic. Users are sent to a nearby mirror for a fast download experience and see the logo of the mirror provider, linked to the provider's landing page -- a great way to showcase the provider's products to the surrounding Open Source community they support.
